XComponents
About
XComponents is a spare-time project by an alumni of the Squirrel team who, many years ago created the XComponents for Xcelsius. The XComponents were the most downloaded add-on for Xcelsius, so who knows what the future holds for this next generation.
Currently there are two components in the new library, "Colour Picker" and "Tooltip" but watch this space for others.
Tooltip
As you might guess, Tooltip is a tooltip component for Squirrel. Alhough you can create tooltips natively in Squirrel, it takes at least 3 interacting components to achieve the effect. The XComponents tooltip add-on does it all in a single easy-to-use component. To see Tooltip in action view the tutorial video.
Colour Picker
With the Colour Picker you can add a colour picker component to your project which allows your users to select a colour and have it inserted into the spreadsheet where it can be used to drive the properties of any other Squirrel component. To see the Colour Picker in action view the tutorial video.
